Data Processing Statement

Southdown Housing Association - Data Processing Statement

Welcome to Staying Well in Eastbourne. This is a new service which is a partnership between Southdown and Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, developed with shared values, promoting recovery and hope for the future.

Staying Well is committed to supporting anyone over the age of 18 years who is experiencing a crisis, including a self-defined crisis, and whether you have been brought here, or you have decided to attend for yourself we will offer you a warm welcome in a calming and supportive environment. Working with you will be mental health professionals and recovery and peer workers, some who have lived experience.
You may be open to Sussex Partnership Trust and receiving care and support, someone previously known, or this may be your first experience of accessing this type of care.
Both Southdown and Sussex Partnership Trust are required to create or add a care record for you which will include your name, birth date and address and the reason for your presentation today. At the end of your time with us we will record what interventions were given and any care plan that was agreed, including safety plans. We will keep that information secure, in line with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and only share this in order to offer you the best care, or assist with risk management. We will protect your confidentiality, unless you disclose something that will significantly affect your health and wellbeing or the health and wellbeing of someone else, putting them at risk.

You can find more information about how and why we hold your information in our Privacy Notices.   If you have a question about information being held on our systems you would like to speak with us about, you are welcome to discuss this with a member of the team:
